FAQ's

How can you help me if you never met me or know my story?

I get to know your story! My client onboarding is quite extensive, and I make sure I get all the info I need from you to help you best move forward. After working with hundreds of women, I see common threads and patterns my clients experience, which helps me to better serve you as I have lots of experience moving you around your blocks.

How can I work with you?

I work with closely in a 1:1 container over 4-6 months. I’ve worked with women in a variety of ways, and hands down, the ones who see the most success, aka finds love, are ones I can work closely with so I can really understand you, your situation, and what’s keeping you stuck. Learn more about my philosophy and how I work with clients here, and if you want to explore working together, you can apply for an Introductory Coaching Call here.

Do we need to meet in person?

Nope! See above. Of course, for my private yoga clients, we do work in person, and I require my clients to provide a space.  {Home or office work great!}

What will our first session be like?

Our first session is a 90-minute Relationship Deep Dive. For 90-minutes, I dig deep to help you get crystal clear on what YOU need + desire in a relationship. If you’re interested in working together 1×1, learn more here.

What can I expect from my coaching sessions?

After each coaching session, you’ll have few tools, assignments, or resources for you to use and implement before our next coaching session. These tools are 100% catered to your needs at the time, and will help you reach your specific goals. During our sessions, I make sure you feel safe and non-judged. My coaching style is very grounded and success-oriented. Yes, I’m woo, and we’ll talk about intuition, astrology, the Universe, and definitely the inner child, but I always bring it back down to earth so you have tangible action steps. I’ve been known to tell it like it is, which may not always be what you want to hear, but it’s what you need to hear.

The clients that get the most results are coachable, which means they’re willing to look at things in a new way, ask questions, and do the deep work. What you get out of each coaching session and the entire program is directly related to what you put in to each session and the assignments I give you.

You can get a sense of my style and philosophy here, and see some success stories here.

How long do I need to work with a coach?

For lasting change, I believe 4 months is the minimum amount of time required. I take clients through a process of developing a strong self-care practice, changing limiting beliefs, and breaking out of dating patterns that requires time to build a lifestyle and mindset around. It’s not uncommon for me to work with my clients for a year or more, depending on how much support they want and where they are in their life.

What's the difference between coaching and therapy? How do I know which I need?

Coaching and therapy can compliment each other, depending on your exact situation and needs. Generally, therapy looks at your past from different angles as a method of healing. Coaching focuses more on the future. You’re in the driver’s seat, and I’m in the passenger’s seat teaching you how to drive  reading off the Google map directions. At the end of the day, you do the driving and decide which route you take to get to where you want to go, I help you understand how your routes may be different.

My style of coaching does rely on inner child work, so we do hang back in the past longer than most coaches, but typically only for the first few sessions.

If you’ve experienced acute trauma and haven’t dealt with the aftermath and pain, I recommend you work with a therapist first, and then consider coaching as you’re ready to start moving forward with goals.

Do I need stop working with my therapist?

I cannot make that call for you. That is between you and your therapist. I’ve worked with plenty of clients that continue to see their therapist during our work together.

How did you become a coach?

I received my Health Coaching certification from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. I helped women overcome perfection and body image issues. However, after coaching many women, I realized where they really wanted help was with their relationships. Most of the women’s relationships I worked with suffered because they weren’t taking care of themselves. My coach, Hillary Rubin, and her flagship program, The Art of Becoming A Coach helped me to facilitate my transformation from health coach to dating coach. Additionally, I draw experience abd knowledge from a decade of teaching yoga to help my clients take better care of themselves and find peace within.

After building a successful life coaching business, I also help other life coaches start their businesses. You can learn more about that here.

Can I book a single session, or do I have to complete a whole series?

To help my clients get the best results, I only work with clients in packages. Transformation takes time and a commitment on both ends. If you’re interested in learning about working together, check out my coaching info page here.

What types of people do you coach, and what types of results can I expect?

I work with smart, successful women who have it all but love. I can’t promise you’ll meet your dream partner by the end of our time working together, but I can promise you’ll have all the tools you need to start attracting the right partners to you. I work with women who are straight and who are in the LGBTQ community. My clients have left toxic relationships, have started having fun dating, met their partners, and gotten married. Warning: the rest of your life will change too. As my clients’ self-worth and confidence went up in their love life, this had a positive effect on their body, money, friendships and more. My clients have lost weight without even trying, gotten promotions, and even started side businesses that were totally off the radar before our work together. The opportunities are endless! You can read more client success stories here. more about working together here.

Do we have to do inner child work?

You don’t *have* to do anything. However, if you’re unwilling to do the deeper work, to work with your inner child, heal past hurts, and look at the beliefs you hold to be true, we won’t be a good fit to work together. There are plenty of dating coaches that just focus on flirting, online dating skills, and “how to get a guy.” I think those tips are great when you want to go on more dates and have more sex. But more sex and more dates is just more sex and more dates. It has little to do with love. You can go on more dates with these tips, but until you do the inner work, the work I have my clients do, you’re going to attract all the wrong types of people and situationships and ultimately, create more pain and suffering in your love life. I recommend you get a sense of my style by listening to this workshop.
